OmniStudio Finder
Overview
Find OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors and FlexCards in your Salesforce org. See every version, open the right one.
Jump straight to any OmniStudio asset in the Salesforce org you're already looking at. Open the popup and start typing. OmniStudio Finder searches every OmniScript, Integration Procedure, DataRaptor and FlexCard in the org shown in your current tab, then opens the one you want in its designer. Switching orgs is just switching tabs. WHAT IT SHOWS Each result lists every version of the asset as a row of chips, so you can see the whole history at a glance: - The active version is marked in green. - Long histories collapse to the newest few with the active version always pinned in, and expand on click. - Hover any version for its last-modified date. Click "Open v3" for the active version, or click a specific version chip to open exactly that one. Shift-click either to get the plain Salesforce record page instead of the designer. Choose whether things open in a new browser tab or reuse the Salesforce tab you came from, and hold Ctrl (Cmd on macOS) to do the opposite just once. You can also pin record pages to a Lightning app so they open inside that app's navigation. Follows your browser's light or dark theme. WORKS WITH BOTH FLAVOURS OF OMNISTUDIO Designer URLs are built in for core (Lightning-native) OmniStudio and for the Vlocity managed packages, across namespaces. Nothing to configure. Which designer an org uses and where it stores its records are two separate things — an org can keep data in the standard OmniProcess object while an admin has enabled the Managed Package Designer. OmniStudio Finder detects them independently and tells you which designer it's using, so you don't land on "you can't edit this record in the standard designer". You can force either one in settings, and override any link if Salesforce changes a builder URL. Object detection adapts to your org: it reads the object description and queries only fields that actually exist, rather than assuming a package version. KEYBOARD Arrow keys move, Enter opens the active version, Escape clears the search. The popup itself has a keyboard shortcut you can set to anything you like. PRIVACY There is no server. Every request goes directly from your browser to your own Salesforce org. Your session cookie is used as the authorization header on those calls and is never stored, logged or transmitted anywhere else. No analytics, no telemetry, no third parties. The extension can only read what your Salesforce user can already read. Nothing is cached. Every time you open the popup it queries your org afresh, so a version you activated a moment ago shows as active straight away. REQUIREMENTS You need to be logged in to the org in the same browser, and your profile needs API access enabled. --- Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Salesforce, Inc.
