Stay Focused: Free Website Blocker

Block distracting sites, schedule focus time, set daily limits and run Pomodoro sessions. Private: no account, no tracking.

Stay Focused is a calm site blocker and focus timer for Chrome. Keep distracting websites out of your way, plan time to concentrate and set daily limits. Free, with no account. KEEP DISTRACTIONS OUT OF REACH • Add whole sites, single pages or any address that contains a word you choose. Add as many rules as you like. • Switch on ready-made categories with one tap: social media, video and streaming, news, shopping, gaming and adult content. Edit any category, or create your own. • Allow-list mode: everything is off-limits except the sites you choose. CHOOSE WHEN IT APPLIES • All the time, on a schedule (work hours, evenings, weekends or your own times), or only during focus sessions. • Lock a schedule window so a weak moment can't undo it. A TIMER FOR DEEP WORK • Pomodoro-style sessions with optional short and long breaks, a daily goal, a session journal and streaks. • Strict mode keeps the timer running until it ends. DAILY TIME LIMITS • Give a site, or a whole category, a daily allowance. Use a different amount at weekends or on any day of the week, or no limit at all on the days you choose. • A warning arrives 5 minutes before the time runs out. SPEED BUMPS, NOT WALLS • Optional speed bumps ask for a short pause before you let something through, pause Stay Focused or loosen your settings: type a phrase or breathe for a few seconds. They are off until you choose when they appear. • An optional password, and a lock for your settings that lasts from 1 hour up to 3 days. • Optionally keep Chrome's Extensions page out of reach while your settings are locked. You can always remove Stay Focused from Chrome's toolbar menu. A KINDER BLOCK PAGE • See what was stopped and why, a quote, today's numbers, and buttons to go back, start the timer or save the link for later. INSIGHTS • Focused time, turned-away visits and where your time went, over 7 and 30 days, worked out on your device. STAY FOCUSED PLUS (OPTIONAL, PAID) • Everything above is free, with no limits, and stays that way. Stay Focused Plus adds extras: four more block-page scenes and five accent colours, focus soundscapes, sync across your Chrome browsers, 90-day and 4-month insights with CSV export and a weekly summary, and your own quotes. • Try Plus free for 7 days, with no card and no account. After that: $19 a year or $39 once. • Plus is made by Matthew Greengrass and sold through Stripe, the merchant of record, which handles payment, tax and receipts under the name Onelink. Google is not the seller. Refund policy: https://stayfocusedsoftware.com/refunds/ · Terms of sale: https://stayfocusedsoftware.com/terms/ PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. • Stay Focused goes online only to check a Plus license key you add, and through Chrome Sync if you turn on sync. The check goes to Stay Focused's own license server and carries the key and a random ID for your browser. Nothing about your browsing is ever sent. • To power limits and insights, Stay Focused keeps a record on your device of the sites you were turned away from and the time spent on each one (you can switch time tracking off), and the links you save. • Export a backup or erase everything at any time. GOOD TO KNOW • To use it in Incognito windows, turn on "Allow in Incognito" for Stay Focused in Chrome's extension settings. Incognito browsing is never recorded. • Shortcuts: Alt+Shift+S opens Stay Focused, Alt+Shift+F starts or stops the timer, Alt+Shift+B adds the website in the current tab to your list.
