internet connection problem

Hi
when I'm connected to the VPN , my internet connection stops working and i cant surf the web to any website

this is the error im getting

This site can’t be reached www.google.com unexpectedly closed the connection.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED

unable to connect

The connect buttons don't have any options to click on when I try to connect. It keeps bringing me back to the Free 3-day page, but I've already paid for the subscription.
