Hide clutter, pin shortcuts, and tweak appearance on any website. All changes stay local to your browser.

FixUI lets you customize ordinary websites locally in your own browser: hide the clutter, pin the things you actually use, and adjust text size and spacing until a page is comfortable to read. Nothing leaves your browser. There is no backend, no account, no analytics, and no AI service involved. WHAT IT DOES • Hide elements you don't want to see, without deleting them from the page. • Pin favorites: save a link shortcut, or a "locate and highlight" shortcut to a page section or control. Buttons, forms, and other interactive controls only ever get locate-and-highlight — FixUI never clones or auto-clicks a control on your behalf. • Adjust appearance: bounded text size, spacing, and highlight-outline tweaks, previewed before you save them. • Remember your changes per site and page, and reapply them automatically on future visits. • Pause, undo, repair, or reset those changes at any time. • Optionally redirect a site's homepage to a preferred landing page you choose (off by default). WORKS ON ANY SITE FixUI ships no per-site adapters. Every feature works through generic element selection, a bounded element fingerprint, and a scored matching engine — the same code path runs on any ordinary HTTP/HTTPS page you enable it on. HONEST ABOUT MATCHING FixUI never stores a single fragile CSS selector. Every rule keeps a bounded fingerprint of the element, and re-scores candidates when a page loads. If a site's redesign removed the element, or several near-identical elements now look equally plausible, the rule is reported as "not found" or "needs repair" rather than guessing. FixUI will never hide or restyle the wrong element to force a rule to "work". One click on Repair lets you re-point it. PRIVACY BY CONSTRUCTION • No backend services, no accounts, no cloud sync. • No analytics or telemetry of any kind. • No remotely generated or executed code, and no arbitrary user JavaScript. • Input, textarea, and contenteditable contents are never captured. • URL query strings and fragments are dropped from element fingerprints. • Everything is stored in chrome.storage.local, scoped to your browser profile. PER-SITE PERMISSIONS FixUI never requests access to all sites at install time. Access to a specific site is requested only when you click "Enable for this site". You can revoke it at any time from the popup. WHAT IT DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO No drag-and-drop page rearrangement, no automated clicking of website controls, no cloning of interactive controls, and no arbitrary user scripts. Browser-internal pages (chrome://, edge://, the Chrome Web Store) cannot be customized — Chrome does not allow it. Cross-origin iframe contents and closed Shadow DOM are out of scope. FixUI is free, with every feature available to everyone.
