Overview

Send your own Garmin Connect dive activities to your dive-log service as original FIT files.

Fit Sync moves the dives you have already recorded on your Garmin watch into your dive-logging service, without retyping anything. It is a bridge, not a companion app for any one service. Garmin Connect is where your dives come from; where they go is up to you, and the destination is chosen from a list in the extension. The service supported today is freediver.club. The code for talking to a service is self-contained and the interface for adding another is documented publicly, so a service can be added without touching how the extension works. HOW IT WORKS 1. Connect your account on a supported service. For freediver.club the extension shows a six-digit code that you approve once, while signed in there. It never asks for a password — not your Garmin one, and not the service's. 2. Choose what to look for: everything new since your last sync, everything since a date you pick, or one date range at a time for working back through older history. 3. Review the list of dives it found. Untick anything you do not want, and choose the discipline for the batch — constant weight, bifins, no fins, free immersion, hang, or other. 4. Upload. Each dive is sent, matched to the right day in your own time zone, and linked to a workout. WHAT IT DOES WITH YOUR WORKOUTS If a day has no workout yet, Fit Sync creates one and names it the way the service itself would — for example "42m CWT · 12 dives" — in English, Polish, German or Korean. If a day already has a workout you planned, Fit Sync does not guess. That dive goes to a review list so you decide which workout it belongs to. Attaching a dive is not reversible, so it is never done on your behalf. A sync can be stopped, and picks up where it left off. Uploading the same dive twice is harmless: the service recognises the file and skips it. WHAT YOU NEED - An account on a supported service — currently freediver.club - Dives already synced from your watch to Garmin Connect - To be signed in to Garmin Connect in this browser PRIVACY Fit Sync sends your dive files to the service you connected and nowhere else. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no server belonging to the extension — the developers of Fit Sync never receive your data. It reads nothing from any site other than Garmin Connect, and it does not request permission to see your other tabs or your browsing history.
