Overview

Fast search and bulk actions for Microsoft Intune admins. Works beside the Intune portal using your existing sign-in.

Finetune is a side panel for Microsoft Intune administrators. It sits beside the Intune admin center (intune.microsoft.com) and answers the questions the portal makes slow. TRY IT FIRST Open the panel and choose "Explore with sample data" to try every tool on a fictional Contoso tenant. No account and no Intune sign-in needed, and nothing is sent anywhere. SEARCH AND ANALYSE • Search every setting in the Intune settings catalog, and see which of your policies set it • Paste a policy ID or Intune URL to see exactly what that policy configures • Find every policy, script and remediation targeting a group (reverse group lookup) • Find conflicting settings on a device or across a group • Compare policies, groups, devices or users side by side • See a fleet's standard policy set and which devices drift from it • Roll up discovered apps across all their versions, and list remediation schedules GROUPS AND DEVICES • Resolve users to the device each one actually uses, and export the results • Filter and export a group's members • Add members to a group in bulk from a pasted column of device names • Ask a group's devices to check in, in paced batches you choose IN THE INTUNE PORTAL ITSELF • Windows build numbers are shown as release names (e.g. "Windows 11 24H2 (26100.8390)"), styled so you can tell Finetune added them; hover for the original number • Resting on a device in a group's member list offers "Open Intune record" Both are display-only and can be switched off in the panel. HOW IT WORKS Finetune uses your existing Intune sign-in. It reads the Microsoft Graph access token the Intune portal already holds in this browser and uses it for its own Graph calls, with exactly the permissions you already have. It never asks for your password and adds no app registration or consent. PRIVACY • Nothing is read until you accept a disclosure on first run. • Your access token stays in browser memory and is never sent to us. • Your tenant data (policies, groups, devices) is cached on your device only. • Licensing sends only your tenant ID, a one-way hash of your directory object ID, your email domain and a random installation ID, plus your email if you sign in to an account. • No analytics, no tracking, no ads. Full policy: https://finetune.tools/privacy CHANGES TO YOUR TENANT Only two kinds: adding members to a group and asking devices to sync. Both show the exact count and wait for your confirmation. Nothing is ever deleted, wiped or reassigned. PRICING Free for one person per organisation for six months, then US$80 a licence, once, with every update included. No subscription. Details at https://finetune.tools. Finetune is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Microsoft and Intune are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.
