FINEPRINT DEFCON reads the fine print so you don't have to. Open a Terms of Service or Privacy Policy page, click the extension, and choose Scan This Page. FINEPRINT DEFCON analyzes the text and drops a threat badge in the corner of the page. Click it for the full war-room dashboard: a 0–100 threat score, a five-level DEFCON rating, sector-by-sector analysis (data collection, data selling, content rights, arbitration traps, deletion rights), plain-English red-flag breakdowns, source excerpts, and honest advice on whether to sign up. Version 4.0 adds the EVIDENCE LOCKED Share Studio. Every red flag can produce three editable post styles, Alarm, Evidence, or Neutral, plus a branded 1200×675 evidence card. Copy or download the card, review the post, and open X when you are ready. The extension never posts automatically. Share copy uses two focused discovery tags selected from the actual issue, such as #DataBrokers, #DigitalRights, #CreatorRights, or #ForcedArbitration. It does not generate generic #privacy, #darkpatterns, or a redundant brand hashtag. Evidence cards are created entirely inside your browser. AI-provided excerpts are checked against the policy text before the extension presents them as source evidence. Offline mode extracts its own nearby snippets locally. The analysis runs locally in your browser. No account or API key is required, the developer runs no server, and page content is not transmitted to an AI provider or any other third party.
