Fine Print
Overview
Summarizes Terms & Conditions into clear benefits, risks, and public sentiment before you agree.
Terms & Conditions are written to be skimmed past, not read. Fine Print reads them for you. WHAT IT DOES When you land on a page with Terms of Service, a Privacy Policy, or similar legal content — including ones split across a multi-page dialog or hidden behind collapsed tabs — Fine Print automatically detects it and breaks it down into three things you actually care about: • Key Benefits — what's genuinely good for you in this agreement • Risk Factors — the red flags a regular person should know about before agreeing • Public Sentiment — what people online are actually saying about this company's terms, with sources cited HOW IT WORKS A summary card appears automatically in the corner of the page, and the toolbar icon lights up so you can pull up the full breakdown any time. No account, no sign-up — just click and read. Pages that have already been analyzed by someone else load instantly from cache instead of re-analyzing from scratch, so the more people use it, the faster it gets. WHY IT EXISTS Nobody actually reads the fine print. This extension exists so you can at least know what you're agreeing to in the ten seconds you're willing to spend on it. Fine Print only reads pages it identifies as legal/terms content — it does not track your general browsing. See the full privacy policy for details on what's collected and why.
