FindFace — reverse face search

Right-click any photo or choose one from your device to find visually similar appearances across supported public web sources.

FindFace brings reverse face search into Chrome. Right-click an image on a webpage and choose “Search this face on FindFace,” or open the Chrome side panel and select a photo from your device. Before upload, FindFace checks the selected image on your device for one clear adult face and prepares the relevant face area. After you confirm the search, the selected image or processed face crop is securely transmitted to FindFace and its search service to locate visually similar appearances across supported public-web image sources. Choose an image from a webpage or your device. 2. FindFace checks the image locally for one clear adult face. 3. You confirm that the selected image may be uploaded for the search. 4. FindFace searches supported public image indexes. 5. You review possible matches and their source pages. PRIVACY AND RESPONSIBLE USE • FindFace acts only after you right-click an image, choose a file, or otherwise initiate a search. • FindFace does not continuously scan webpages or monitor browsing activity. • FindFace does not access private or locked social-media accounts. • Search results indicate visual similarity and do not confirm a person’s identity. • Uploaded search images are used only to provide the requested search and related account features. • Search-image handling, retention, service providers, and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy. • Searches involving minors, stalking, harassment, discrimination, or high-risk decisions are prohibited. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS Search coverage depends on supported public image indexes. No result does not mean that a face has never appeared online. A matching webpage does not prove that an account belongs to the person shown. Images may appear in reposts, group photos, news articles, fan pages, or unauthorized accounts. Some searches or complete source results may require a FindFace account, available search credit, or paid result unlock. Use FindFace only for lawful, consent-based verification and public-source research.
