Find and replace text across the current webpage with powerful regular expressions, reusable variables, and one-click Replace all. FEATURES • Find literal text or use regular expressions with capture groups and named groups. • Use replacement patterns such as $1, $&, and $<name>. • Define reusable variables and insert built-in values such as the date, time, page title, and match number. • Count matches before replacing, then undo previous replacement operations. • Optionally include input fields, textareas, and text attributes. • Open quickly with Ctrl+Shift+F (Command+Shift+F on Mac). HOW TO USE Open a webpage, click the extension icon, enter your search and replacement, and choose Count or Replace all. Use Undo to restore a previous change. Changes affect the page in your browser; they do not edit the original website. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS The extension runs when you invoke it on the active tab. It uses activeTab and scripting to perform replacements and storage to remember your settings. No analytics or developer-operated data collection is included. Settings use Chrome storage sync. LIMITATIONS Browser-protected pages cannot be modified. Text split across separate elements, shadow DOM, and inaccessible cross-origin frames may not be matched. Dynamic websites may overwrite changes when they update the page.
