FinalCheck
Overview
A focused review step before sending emails in Gmail: verify recipients, spelling, links, and attachments.
Ever sent an email and immediately regretted it? Wrong attachment. Broken link. Emailed the wrong person. Reply-all when you shouldn't have. FinalCheck adds a dedicated review step before you hit send in Gmail, so that you can send emails without double guessing anything. --- FinalCheck focuses on: - Spelling errors - Broken or unreachable links - Corrupted or unopenable attachments - Reply-all warnings - Missing subject line So that you can see if: - Is this the right link, or just a working one? - Is this the correct version of the PDF? - Is this the right recipient? Open FinalCheck before you hit send. Review everything in one place. Then, send with confidence. --- Features 1. Spelling Check Gmail catches typos as you type, but it's easy to miss a highlight when you're writing fast. FinalCheck pulls every spelling error into one place so you can review them all at once, not hunt for red underlines across a long email. It also flags the subject line — something Gmail's spell check quietly ignores. 2. Link Checker FinalCheck tests every link in your email before it reaches your recipient. Broken links return a clear error. But it goes further — the preview window lets you open each link and visually confirm it's the right one. A working link to last quarter's deck instead of this quarter's is just as bad as a broken one. 3. Attachment Checker FinalCheck checks that your attached files actually open — not just that they exist. A corrupted PDF looks fine in your outbox but arrives unreadable. The preview window lets you scroll through the document yourself and confirm it's the right version before it leaves your drafts. --- 4. Google Doc Share Settings This one catches a mistake most people don't even know they're making. If you've linked a Google Doc, Sheet, or Slide, FinalCheck checks whether your recipient actually has permission to open it. No more "you'll need to request access" replies an hour after your email lands. 5. Recipient Check FinalCheck surfaces every recipient — To, CC, and BCC — in a single view before you send. If you're replying to a thread with six people on it, or if there are two contacts named John in your address book, you'll see exactly who is getting this email before it's too late. 6. Reply-All Warning If you accidentally decided to reply to everybody instead of one person, FinalCheck flags it. One of the most common (and most embarrassing) email mistakes, caught before it happens. --- Privacy We take this seriously. FinalCheck does not collect, store, or transmit your email content. Ever. The extension reads your draft only to run checks locally — nothing leaves your browser. No accounts, no tracking, no data sold. Free to use.
