Your filtering rules, profiles, PIN configuration, local-media favourites and viewing controls remain on your device. FilterTube does not upload your local videos or audio. Optional Google sign-in is used only when you choose account-backed features such as your YouTube feed, subscriptions, playlists and history. Notification permission is used only to display active media-player controls. Browse device videos and audio by recency, folder, album or artist. View thumbnails and metadata, maintain favourites and playback queues, rescan when files change, and continue playback using background and notification controls.
