Messages History Exporter

Exports the currently opened Google Messages conversation to CSV or JSON.

Messages History Exporter lets you export the currently open Google Messages conversation as a CSV or JSON file. Open a conversation at messages.google.com, select Analyze Active Chat, and then choose Extract full history. When extraction is complete, select CSV or JSON to download your conversation. The extension captures message text, timestamps, sender direction, and available sender details while preserving conversation order. If an extraction is cancelled or interrupted after messages have been saved, the available partial results can still be exported. Messages History Exporter operates only on the Google Messages page you choose to analyze. Extracted conversation data is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to an external server by the extension. The extension does not send messages, delete conversations, modify conversations, or react to messages. It uses browser permissions to read the active Google Messages conversation, save extraction progress locally, and create CSV or JSON downloads.
