Overview
Automatically prepares files for upload requirements - compresses images, converts formats, and resizes to meet platform constraints
FileThrough automatically prepares your files when a website has specific upload requirements. Upload forms often impose requirements such as specific file formats, maximum or minimum file sizes, and exact image dimensions. Meeting these requirements manually can mean repeatedly resizing, converting, and compressing files. FileThrough handles this automatically. When you select an image for upload, FileThrough analyzes the requirements associated with the upload field and prepares the image accordingly. What FileThrough can do • Convert images/pdfs between supported formats • Resize images to required dimensions • Compress images to meet file-size limits • Handle minimum and maximum file-size requirements • Validate the processed file before submitting it • Work with dynamically created upload fields • Process multiple upload fields independently How it works Select a file on a supported upload form. FileThrough identifies the upload requirements. It determines what changes are necessary. The image/pdf is resized, converted, and/or compressed as required. The processed file is placed back into the upload field. No more repeatedly switching between image converters and compressors just to satisfy an upload form. FileThrough is designed to make file uploads simpler by handling the preparation step automatically.
