Overview

Arrastra un archivo real (imagen, PDF, etc.) de una pestaña a otra como si fuera un archivo del sistema, con nombre y tipo reales.

FileDrop solves a common problem when working with documents on the web: when you drag a file (a PDF, an image) from one browser tab to another — say, from a document viewer into a Gmail or Outlook Web message, or into a WhatsApp Web chat — most sites only paste the filename as plain text or a link. They never receive the actual file. FileDrop fixes this: when you drag an image or a real file from one tab into another, the extension delivers the complete file, with its real name and type, exactly as if you had dragged it from your computer's file explorer. How it works: • Drag any image or linked file (no setup needed). • Drop it onto the destination tab — Gmail, Outlook Web, WhatsApp Web, or any site that accepts dropped files. • The file attaches as a real file, not as text. Privacy: FileDrop does not collect, transmit, or store any data. It only acts when you explicitly drag a file — never in the background. Requires Chrome or Edge (Chromium-based).
