The download bar is way too cluttered

It is alright I guess. One big problem is that I can't change its height. It is currently to big which is a dealbreaker.

First off, the problem that some people reported about this extension making the browser irresponsive has not been fixed at all. I had to manually delete it just to be able to open Chrome again. After deleting, then clearing the downloads, then reinstalling the extension, I found out that the bar doesn't even show on every tab like the old one, for some reason it only shows up on seemingly random tabs.

Great simple extension. When I download images and videos I can easily immediately drag and drop them into where I want them to be to work with files. Thank you! Edit: Giving 4 stars just because I would love for there to be an update that shows a preview of the image in th extension after you download it. I work with a lot of images, and it would really help speed up my work while avoiding mistakes if the icon next to the downloaded images weren't all the same icon.

It's close to what I want but the lack of manually enabling a dark mode holds me back from fully embracing it. The appearance I desire for my browser uses light mode as a baseline with one of the 'dark & black' store themes along with other extensions operating in dark mode to achieve my desired aesthetic. As an enthusiastic user of Chrome's removed Download shelf I truly hope greater control of this extension's appearance may be added one day.

It offers to replace the bubble with the bar or to have neither "anonymous", anonymous is the feature that made me try it. It does not work, so you end up replacing one intrusive annoyance with another intrusive annoyance.
