File Viewer lets you preview a file from your computer in a Chrome tab. Click the extension icon, then select a file or drag it into the window. Read documents, switch between spreadsheet sheets, or inspect drawings with the controls available for each file. You can also browse an archive and open supported files inside it. Preview features vary by file type. Files are processed on your device using resources included with the extension. Preview works offline. The extension does not upload your documents or access browsing history. Trial and activation details are stored locally; some previews also use local caches, as explained in the privacy policy. A free 7-day trial includes all built-in preview features. After the trial, continued use requires a one-time US$1.00 payment for lifetime access. Payment is made to Flyfish through Stripe on a separate website outside the Chrome Web Store. There is no subscription. Google is not the seller and does not process the transaction.
