File Explorer transforms Chrome's plain file:// directory listings into a powerful, visual file browser — right in your browser, everything local right on your device, no data is sent anywhere. All processing is local — no file contents or metadata are ever sent to any server. IMPORTANT AFTER INSTALL Open the extension Details and enable "Allow access to file URLs" — this is required for the extension to read local directories.
