Brightspace Course Content Inventory
Overview
Brightspace Course Content Inventory. Enumerates course content, includes status checkbox, notes text box and CSV export.
Brightspace Course Content Inventory adds a non‑intrusive sidebar to D2L Brightspace courses that lists course content, lets reviewers mark items as reviewed, add notes, and export progress to CSV—helping instructors and accessibility teams track review status efficiently. Each course will remember your selections and notes so you can use it for all of your courses. All information is stored locally - nothing is shared or uploaded. Use cases: - Accessibility review: toggle the 'reviewed' checkbox when you've finished analysis/remediation for that content item. - Working with an instructional designer: use the 'reviewed' checkbox to indicate you have reviewed the content item(s) for inclusion in your course. You can then export a .csv file to share with your ID. Features: - Enumerates all content items to which the user is entitled. - Modules can be expanded/collapsed. - 'Reviewed' count auto-updates. - Module title highlighted when all topics/children have been reviewed. - Exported .csv appends the name of the course to file name. - Notes panel to keep basic notes per course. NOTE: Large courses/courses with many content items and sub-modules may take ~5 seconds to render the sidebar, as the enumeration of large and complex content trees takes time. This extension does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. All data is stored locally in the user’s browser and used only to support course content review workflows in D2L Brightspace.
