Overview
Convert Figma designs into clean HTML and CSS locally in your browser. Fast, free, and privacy-friendly.
Figma → Code (local) reads the full layer tree of a Figma file — every page, every component instance — and generates clean, self-contained HTML. No Figma REST API, no rate limits. WHY THIS EXISTS Figma's built-in "Copy as code" often stops at component instance boundaries and misses layers. This extension doesn't scrape the canvas or call Figma's API — it reads the .fig file's own data format directly, so nothing gets skipped. HOW IT WORKS 1. In Figma: Menu → File → Save local copy (or copy a single layer and paste it into the panel) 2. Open the extension's side panel in Chrome 3. Load the .fig file (or paste the copied layer) 4. Get generated HTML for every page and every component instance, reconstructed with all overrides applied correctly KEY FEATURES - Reads the complete file locally — no API calls, no quota limits - Correctly resolves component instance overrides (including nested instances) - Covers every page in the file, not just the current selection - Includes a coverage report to verify fidelity against the source - Works entirely offline once the file is loaded — your designs never leave your browser WHO IT'S FOR Designers and developers who need accurate, complete HTML from Figma files without fighting API rate limits or losing component overrides in the handoff.
