Field Recovery

Saves text you type into web forms so you can recover it after a refresh or crash. Encrypted at rest and fully local.

Never lose what you type again. Field Recovery automatically saves the text you enter into forms, text boxes, and editors on any website — so you can instantly recover it if a page crashes, reloads, times out, logs you out, or a form fails to submit. We've all lost a long comment, job application, email draft, forum post, or support ticket because a tab closed or a website wiped the form. Field Recovery is your safety net: it quietly backs up your typing as you go and lets you restore it in one click — no more retyping. ★ What Field Recovery does • Auto-saves text as you type into input fields, textareas, and rich-text editors • Recovers lost text after a page refresh, browser crash, session timeout, or accidental back-button / navigation • Lets you browse your recent form entries in a simple popup and copy back exactly what you need • Works on virtually any website — forums, webmail, CMS and admin dashboards, job and school applications, support tickets, surveys, and long web forms ★ Private and secure by design • 100% local: your data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server • Encrypted at rest behind a master password, using the browser's built-in Web Crypto (AES-GCM + RSA) • Decrypted text is kept in memory only and auto-locks after inactivity • Password, credit-card, and one-time-code fields are never recorded ★ Lightweight and automatic • No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no ads • Set a master password once — form recovery then just works in the background • Saved entries auto-delete after 30 days to keep storage tidy Whether you call it form recovery, text recovery, a form autosave, a typing backup, or a way to restore lost form data, Field Recovery has one job: making sure the words you type are never lost to a crash or refresh again. Install Field Recovery and type with confidence.
