Overview
Ask any eBay seller to use escrow. Payment is held until you confirm the item arrived. Free for buyers.
A hand-carved record player shipped from India to Florida. It arrived in pieces — the packaging crushed, the wood joints split open. The seller was honest and the item was real. The money was already gone. That is the gap Fiducia closes. WHAT IT DOES Fiducia adds a small card to eBay listings over $100. One click sends the seller a request to complete the sale through escrow. If the seller accepts, you pay Fiducia instead of paying the seller directly. Fiducia holds the payment until the item arrives and you have had time to inspect it. Then the money is released. If the item never ships, or shows up broken, or is not what was listed, the payment goes back to you. WHAT IT COSTS YOU Nothing. The seller pays the escrow fee. There is an optional upgrade that extends the inspection window to seven days for $2.99, and it is genuinely optional — the standard flow is free for buyers. WHY SELLERS AGREE A seller who accepts escrow is telling you they expect the item to arrive as described. A seller who refuses has told you something too. The fee is a fraction of what the large marketplaces already charge them in seller fees. WHERE IT WORKS eBay listings over $100. More marketplaces are being added. WHAT IT COLLECTS Your email address, so escrow updates can reach you. The listing price, title, and URL of any listing where you request escrow. Nothing else. No browsing history. No tracking across sites. No data sold, ever. Fiducia is a product of Omniapan AI Inc.
