Overview

Automatically converts phone numbers on any webpage into clickable call links that initiate calls through FIBERME Softphone.

Stop copying phone numbers. You know the routine. A customer's number is sitting right there in the ticket. You select it, copy it, find the softphone tab, click into the dial field, paste, check you didn't grab a stray space, and call. Forty times a day. FIBERME Click To Call removes every step in the middle. Numbers on the page become call links. Click one, and you land in your FIBERME Softphone with the call already going. WHAT IT DOES • Finds phone numbers on any webpage and makes them clickable • Dials through the FIBERME Softphone tab you already have open • Puts the number in the dialer exactly as written, no typos, no stray characters • Brings the softphone tab to the front so you are looking at the call • Stays out of the way completely when the softphone is closed IT WORKS WHERE YOUR NUMBERS ACTUALLY LIVE Contact records, helpdesk tickets, supplier pages, internal wikis, webmail, search results, order confirmations. If the number is text on a page, it is a call link. And because so much of the day happens inside a CRM, form fields are handled too. A number sitting in an editable field cannot be turned into a link, that is a browser limitation, not a design choice. So instead, hover the field and a small dial button appears at its edge. One click, same result. Nothing is inserted into the form, so your CRM layout is untouched. Three other ways to place a call: • Click any existing "tel:" link, it routes to your softphone instead of handing off to the operating system • Select a number anywhere on the page, right-click, and choose Call • Tab to a linked number and press Enter, if you work from the keyboard HOW IT WORKS 1. Open your FIBERME Softphone in a tab and sign in 2. The toolbar badge turns on. That is it, no configuration needed 3. Click any number on any page The extension finds your softphone by recognizing the dialer itself, not by matching a web address. Move your PBX to a new host, a new port, a new domain, it keeps working, with nothing to reconfigure. IT KNOWS WHEN TO GET OUT OF THE WAY • No softphone tab open? Numbers stay plain text. Nothing is drawn, nothing runs. • Softphone open but not registered? The number goes into the dialer and tells you why it did not ring. • Already on a call? It will not hang up on you. The number waits in the dial field. • Working on a page where you would rather not see call links? One switch turns it off for that site. • Want it off everywhere for a while? One switch for that too. It comes back on the next time your softphone connects. TUNED TO YOUR DIAL PLAN Every phone system has its own habits. This one adapts to yours: • Match labelled extensions such as "ext. 4021" or "x214" • Add an outside-line prefix, like 9, to every call • Rewrite a leading 00 as + • Rewrite a national leading 0 using your country code • Place the call immediately, or just load the dialer and press Call yourself • Show or hide the small handset beside each number • Skip specific sites entirely All of it lives in the extension popup. There is no separate settings page to hunt for. IT IS CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT IT TOUCHES A tool that reads every page you visit should be conservative, so this one is: • Dates, IP addresses, prices, ISBNs, SKUs, invoice numbers, version strings and order references are recognized left alone • Numbers inside code blocks, password fields and text you are editing are never touched • Page layout is never altered, a linked number takes a dotted underline and a small handset, nothing more • Long pages are scanned in slices so scrolling never stutters YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS • Nothing is collected • Nothing is transmitted to FIBERME or anyone else • No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising • The number you click goes to one place: the softphone tab on your own machine • Your settings live in your browser profile The extension needs permission to read pages because that is the only way to find a phone number on one. It reads. It does not report. WHAT YOU NEED • A FIBERME Softphone, open in a browser tab and registered to your PBX That is the whole list. No installer, no desktop agent, no drivers, no separate license. WHO IT IS FOR Support desks, sales teams, dispatchers, receptionists, account managers, and anyone whose day is a queue of numbers on a screen. If you dial what you read, this removes the gap between the two.
