Overview
Annotate web interfaces with personal journal notes or visual feedback for coding agents.
Logbook Waypoint helps you leave visual feedback and personal notes directly on a web interface. Agent mode turns feedback into structured requests for coding agents. Pin an Annotation to an element, describe the change, and preserve its page context, selected Targets, visual edits, and optional screenshots. Connect the separately installed local MCP server so a compatible agent can inspect, claim, and resolve requests from your Queue. Journal mode keeps your thoughts beside the elements that inspired them. Create named journals with handwritten taped notes, hand-drawn highlights, and curved arrows. Edit notes in place, drag them around, hide or show the whole journal, and copy the visible page—with its notes—as a screenshot. Waypoint includes: - Element-aware Annotations and multi-Target requests - Optional screenshots and image attachments in Agent mode - Local Queue persistence and lifecycle history - Design Actions and requested Variants - Named, text-only journals stored on your device - Screenshot copying with Journal notes and drawings - A local MCP interface for compatible coding agents Waypoint is local-first. Agent Annotations may synchronize with the optional server on your device. Journal notes stay in browser extension storage and never enter the Agent Queue or MCP server. No Logbook account, advertising, analytics, or telemetry. The Waypoint CLI/server is installed separately. Setup and documentation: https://waypoint.logbookfordevs.com/
