Overview

Crawl an entire site for broken links and SEO problems — right in your browser. Nothing to install, no API key, no account.

SEO Lens audits many pages at once — not just the page you are looking at. Most free SEO extensions check a single page. Paid ones ask you to sign up for a third-party plan before anything works. SEO Lens crawls your site and gives you the whole picture, with no account and no API key. WHAT AI CRAWLERS CAN SEE The crawlers behind AI answers do not run JavaScript. Neither does this extension — so what it reads is close to what they read. That makes a few things checkable that page-by-page tools cannot check: • Whether robots.txt lets the crawlers behind AI answers fetch the site at all, and which of them are blocked • Pages whose text is missing from the HTML and only appears once scripts run • llms.txt, if you have one, and whether the links inside it still resolve • Structured data: whether each block says what it is, and whether articles carry an author and a publication date These are reported as facts, not as promises. Blocking a crawler is sometimes deliberate, and nobody can guarantee what any assistant will quote. Note: Google's AI Overviews draw on Google's own index, which does render JavaScript, so it can differ from what this shows. WHERE IT CAN GO THAT OTHER CRAWLERS CANNOT It runs inside your browser, on your machine. So it can audit: • localhost, before you deploy • Staging sites that are not public yet A crawler running on someone else's server cannot reach either of those. It never sends your cookies. Search engines are not logged in, so the anonymous view is the one that matters — and it means the audit cannot trip over links that act when opened. WHAT IT CHECKS Links and images • Broken links (404 and other errors), internal and external • Broken images • Redirects, with the final destination shown • Links that could not be checked, kept separate from links that are broken Pages • Missing or overlong <title> and meta description • Missing, duplicated, or skipped headings • canonical: missing, duplicated, or pointing somewhere else • noindex, in the HTML and in the HTTP headers • Thin pages, and pages whose content needs JavaScript • Images with no alt text or no dimensions • Open Graph tags, viewport, lang, charset, mixed content Across the whole site • Duplicate titles, descriptions and headings • Orphan pages: in your sitemap, but nothing links to them • Pages that are linked but missing from your sitemap • Pages your sitemap lists that are blocked by robots.txt • How many clicks each page sits from the entrance Findings are grouped by priority, and by template: if forty pages share one problem, that is one line telling you which template to fix, not forty lines. HOW IT FINDS YOUR PAGES It reads sitemap.xml when there is one, so pages that nothing links to are still checked. It also follows internal links from the URL you give it. You choose how many pages to audit, up to 500. It respects robots.txt by default. It reads the HTML your server sends, the same as any crawler. It does not run JavaScript, so content that only appears after scripts run is not counted — and it tells you which pages look like that. NO SERVER, NO ACCOUNT, NO API KEY There is no backend. Requests go straight from your browser to the site you are auditing. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored anywhere but your own browser. There is no sign-up, and there is no third-party subscription to buy before the extension does something. Export any audit to CSV, or copy a plain-text summary.
