Bulk PDF export for selected Gmail messages. Combined or separate PDFs with clean user definable filenames.

PDFer exports the Gmail™ messages you select to PDF files, with control over file names, folders, bookmarks, and a table of contents. Select messages in Gmail, choose Separate (one PDF per message) or Combined (one PDF for the whole selection), and save the PDFs to a folder you choose on your computer. Message content is processed in your browser to build the PDF. PDFer is for anyone who needs a clean, permanent record of their email conversations. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install PDFer and open Gmail. The PDFer toolbar appears above your message list: PDF Combined, PDF Separate, Print, Stop, Help. 2. Select the messages you want. With Pro, you can instead use the "PDF all Gmail messages" Google Takeout workflow to export your whole mailbox. 3. Choose Separate or Combined, and optionally set Patterns for sub-folders, file names, bookmarks, and the table of contents. 4. Click Choose Folder once to pick your PDF folder (a sub-folder such as Downloads/PDFer; Chrome doesn't allow Downloads, Documents or Desktop itself), then click Download. FEATURES • Separate or Combined PDFs: one file per message, or one file for the whole selection. • Gmail labels and threads become PDF bookmarks and an optional table of contents. • Large Combined exports are split into "1 of N", "2 of N" files above the Max Combined PDF size you pick (1, 2, 4 or 8 GB; default 2 GB). • Patterns tokens build file names, sub-folders, bookmarks, and table of contents entries from the subject, dates, addresses, labels, and more. Separate exports go into {account}/{label} sub-folders by default. • Some tokens, such as {addrs}, {label} and {new}, can create multiple destinations or outline levels; PDFer warns you before you download. • Printable attachments, and Google Drive links (treated like attachments), can be included under each message. • Manifest V3 extension with readable, lightly minified code (no obfuscation). FREE AND PRO • Free: 8 messages per day per Gmail account, up to 4 attachments per message (Google Drive links count toward the 4), no Print. • Pro (yearly subscription): unlimited messages, up to 200 attachments per message, Print, PDF all Gmail messages via Google Takeout, and 1–10 Gmail accounts on one license key. PRIVACY • PDFs are built from message content in your browser and written only to the folder you choose. • We don't upload your mailbox to store it, and we do not sell your email content or use it for ads. • Free and Pro licensing sends your Gmail address, license key, and quota data to our license service (Cloudflare Worker).
