Overview

Export any table or data grid on a web page to CSV or the clipboard in one click. Local only: no account, no tracking.

Export any table on a web page to CSV or your clipboard in one click. Rowtrove finds every table, data grid and list on the page, shows you a clean preview, and hands you the data. Everything runs locally in your browser: no account, no sign-up, no tracking. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any page with a table: a report, a dashboard, a price list, a sports stats page, a Wikipedia article. 2. Click the Rowtrove icon in the toolbar. 3. A new tab lists every table it found, biggest first. Pick one, check the preview, then: • Copy to clipboard and paste straight into Google Sheets, Excel or Numbers, or • Download CSV (UTF-8 with BOM, so accents and non-Latin text open correctly in Excel). FINDS MORE THAN PLAIN TABLES • Regular HTML tables, including header cells that span several rows or columns. Spans are expanded so every row has the same columns. • Multi-row headers are joined into one clear header row, for example "2024 Q1". • ARIA data grids (role="grid" / role="table") used by many web apps and dashboards. • Repeated div and list layouts such as product lists, search results and cards become clean columns. • Hidden rows and layout tables are skipped. Navigation menus are ignored. BUILT FOR REAL DATA • No row limit. Large tables are exported in full; the preview simply shows the first 300 rows. • "First row is a header" toggle for tables without a marked header. • "Show on page" highlights the selected table on the original page so you know you picked the right one. • Spreadsheet-safe output: cells that start with =, +, - or @ are escaped so they can't run as formulas when you open the file. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Rowtrove reads a page only when you click its icon (Chrome's activeTab permission). It cannot see your other tabs or browsing. • No analytics, no remote code, no servers. Rowtrove makes no network requests at all. • Your data goes only where you put it: your clipboard or a file in your Downloads folder. PERMISSIONS • activeTab + scripting: read the tables on the current page, only after you click the icon. • storage: hold the scan results in memory while the export tab is open.
