Overview
Check an email before you send it: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, blocklists, content, a fix plan, and where it lands at different providers.
Email Spam Tester checks an email the way receiving mail servers do, before it goes out to your list. Click the icon, get a test address, and send your draft to it from the mailbox or platform you normally use. You can close the popup while you send. When the email has been checked, Chrome shows a notification with the score. Click it for the full report on the site, or open the popup to read it there. The report covers SPF, DKIM and DMARC with alignment, reverse DNS, TLS, 21 blocklists, links, HTML structure, the bulk-sender rules Gmail and Yahoo enforce, SpamAssassin and Rspamd verdicts, and a ClamAV scan. It ends with a fix plan: what to change, what each change is worth, and DNS records you can copy as they are. "Copy what to fix" puts the findings on the clipboard as plain text for a ticket or for whoever writes your emails. Tick one box and the same send also shows which folder the email lands in at different mailbox providers: inbox, promotions or spam. Some of those are public test inboxes, so use a message with nothing confidential in it. Your last 20 tests stay in the popup, so you can reopen a report later. The full report with every check and the RFC section behind it is one click away on email-spam-tester.com. What the extension does not do: it does not send email, and it cannot read your mailbox, your drafts or the pages you visit. It talks to email-spam-tester.com and nowhere else, and has no analytics.
