This is a general-purpose web video downloader for standard formats such as HLS (m3u8), DASH (mpd), MP4, and WebM. Features: 1. Download HLS videos (streaming videos indexed by m3u8 files) and combine all media segments into a single MP4 file; 2. Support for HLS live streams; 3. Support for DASH on-demand streams (streaming videos indexed by mpd files); 4. Recording: if a video or live stream player's src starts with blob and its media URL can't be detected, use Record to turn the live picture and sound or buffered video data into an MP4 file; 5. Download direct-link videos that can be played on web pages, including MP4 and WebM; 6. Support for external VTT subtitles. Subtitle files are saved alongside the video and can be used with a local media player; 7. Extract audio by choosing "Extract Audio"; downloads are provided as M4A files; 8. Multi-threaded downloads can significantly boost speed on a stable connection, especially for large files; 9. Automatically detect the resolutions available in HLS or DASH. Choose a resolution to download if the source provides multiple options; 10. Preview media images or videos.
