Web Translator is a translator for Chrome made for language learners. Translate selected text on any web page without leaving it, see every meaning of an unfamiliar word, and save the words you need to your personal dictionary. Pick the language you are learning and your native language once. From then on, the extension works on articles, news, blogs, documentation, forums and any other site written in the language you are learning. Pages in other languages stay untouched, so nothing gets in the way of normal browsing. 1️⃣ Double-click a word to see all its meanings 2️⃣ Select a phrase, sentence or paragraph to translate it 3️⃣ Add the meaning you need to your dictionary with one click 4️⃣ Spot saved words highlighted on the pages you read 5️⃣ Practice them in the Vibeling app Double-click any word and a small card opens right next to it. It shows each meaning separately, with a picture, a translation and a short definition. Choose the exact meaning you came across in the text and add it with the "+" button. A check mark shows the words that are already in your dictionary. To translate a whole phrase or paragraph, just select it. The translation appears next to the text and keeps the paragraph breaks, so you can read a difficult passage in your native language and then go back to the original. Search for any word in both directions, add words straight from the suggestions, or browse ready-made word collections by topic such as travel or moving abroad. Each word opens as a full card: translation, transcription, part of speech, definition and example sentences with translations. Your dictionary lives in the popup too. Sort words with colored tags, open any card to listen to it again, or remove what you no longer need. Learn English to Spanish, Spanish to English, English to German, French to English or any other pair from this list: you read in the language you are learning and get translations into your native one. The extension is a companion to the Vibeling app. Connect it with a code from the app, and the words you saved in the browser join your account dictionary.
