GOODGES Cam

An honest badge on your face in video calls. Pick “GOODGES Cam” as your camera in Meet, Teams or Zoom on the web.

Wear an honest badge on your face in video calls. GOODGES Cam adds a camera called “GOODGES Cam” to the video calls you join in Chrome. Pick it as your camera and everyone in the call sees you wearing a round profile badge with the truth on it: I AM IN A MEETING, I AM NOT CIRCLING BACK, I AM OPEN TO MONEY, I AM THE RED FLAG… or whatever you write yourself. The badge follows your face, live. Grab it and throw it, it comes back. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Write your own phrase, pick a colour and a style, add your company logo (SVG) • Filters for the whole picture: dither, halftone, glitch, letters • A badge that listens: I AM TALKING, I AM TALKING ON MUTE, I AM STILL HERE • A meeting timer: “this meeting could have been an email”, running • Profile view: only your badge sharp, the rest blurred • Use your hands: pinch to grab the badge, 👍 ✋ ✌️ ☝️ 🤟 for reactions • Hot potato with everyone in the call: a potato tagged ACTION ITEM lands next to someone. Tilt your head to throw it on. Whoever holds it when time runs out owns the action item. HOW TO USE IT 1. Install GOODGES Cam 2. In your call, open the camera settings and pick “GOODGES Cam” 3. Click the extension’s icon to change the badge, live PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, nothing to sign up for • Your camera never leaves your computer: face and hand tracking run on your device • Without games, the extension makes no network requests at all • With games on, it only sends game moves to your call’s room (a random id and a hash of the call’s address). Nothing is stored. Make the full badge for your profile picture at https://goodg.es GOODGES is satire. It is not affiliated with LinkedIn or with any video-call service.
