Calendar Lens can recognize events by color or keyword, let you label each category, classify it as billable or non-billable, and automatically calculate your scheduled hours. MATCH BY COLOR OR KEYWORD Calendar Lens gives you two ways to recognize events. Match by color Use the colors already assigned to your Google Calendar events. This works well if your schedule is consistently color-coded. Match by keyword Match words contained in your event titles instead. This is useful when you use service codes, agency names, or category names in your calendar titles. Keyword matching ignores capitalization and accents and uses whole-word matching. For example, "admin" will not match "administrator." PRIVACY BY DESIGN Calendar Lens processes Google Calendar information locally within your browser to calculate the totals displayed on your screen. Calendar Lens does not: • Require a separate Calendar Lens account • Upload calendar event content to Calendar Lens-operated servers • Store calendar event content on Calendar Lens-operated servers • Use calendar event content for advertising Extension preferences may include: • Selected colors or keywords • Custom labels • Billable and non-billable classifications • Daily thresholds • Display preferences Depending on your Chrome settings, extension preferences may sync between browsers using Chrome Sync. Purchase and Pro-status verification may communicate with ExtensionPay and Stripe. These services do not require access to your Google Calendar event content to verify your subscription. Calendar Lens operates only on supported pages within Google Calendar. For users working under HIPAA or similar privacy requirements, avoid placing protected health information in custom Calendar Lens labels or keywords. These values are stored as extension preferences and may be synchronized through Chrome Sync. SCHEDULED TIME IS NOT DELIVERED TIME Calendar Lens calculates time based on events scheduled in Google Calendar. It does not confirm that a service occurred or that the full scheduled duration was delivered. Scheduled totals may not reflect: • Cancellations • No-shows • Late arrivals • Early departures • Sessions running longer than scheduled • Sessions ending earlier than scheduled • Calendar events not updated after schedule changes • Duplicate events Double-booking detection is provided as a convenience and should not be treated as an audit or compliance verification. The absence of an alert does not guarantee that no scheduling or billing conflict exists. Calendar Lens is a planning, scheduling, and estimation tool.
