Overview

Shows what your Threads feed hides: author stats, post views and an AI-written score. Private, no account needed.

Feedray shows what your Threads feed doesn't: who the author is, how far a post really went, and whether the text reads like it came out of a language model. I built it for myself because I got tired of opening profiles just to see who I'm replying to. You scroll the feed as usual, and the numbers are already there. WHAT YOU GET • Author stats under every name: followers, how often they post, average likes. • Where the author is based: the country from the "About this profile" card, without opening it. • "Follows you" and "mutual" labels, so you see who already reads you. • Private notes on accounts: write who this is or how you know them, and the note shows up next to their name on every post. Notes never leave your browser. • Views on every post, right next to the likes. Twenty likes on 400 views and twenty likes on 40,000 views are very different posts. • AI-written score: a number from 1 to 100 with a short explanation of why. It is an estimate, not a verdict. Detectors make mistakes, and someone who simply writes clean, even text can score high. Treat it as a hint to look closer. • 5 account tags from the same request: what the account is actually about. • Spoiler cover: add words you want to avoid, and posts that mention them hide behind a pill until you click. • Character counter in the composer, plus a Split button that turns a draft over 500 characters into a thread at word boundaries. • Hide "Suggested for you": removes follow-suggestion carousels from the feed. • Download button on posts with media: a photo or video saves as a file, a carousel as one ZIP. • Bring your own model: paste an OpenRouter key and pick any model (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, free ones) from a live list with prices. Requests then go straight from your browser to OpenRouter. • 20 interface languages, picked up automatically. PRIVACY • No account, no sign-up. It works on top of the session you already have open and never sees your password. • Never posts, likes or follows for you. It reads what the page has already loaded, plus the same public pages and "About this profile" card you could open yourself. • No analytics, no trackers, no ads. • Settings, notes and your OpenRouter key stay in your browser's local storage. • Every feature has its own switch, and a switched-off feature loads nothing: no profile or post pages are fetched for it. • The AI check is off by default. Until you turn it on, nothing leaves your browser. When it is on, the Feedray server gets the public post text and username of the author being checked, the interface language, and, for fair-use limits, your own username and a random install ID shown in the settings. With your own OpenRouter key, only the author's posts go to OpenRouter and nothing goes to the Feedray server. Post text is not stored; your username and install ID are kept in a usage log (time, result, cost) for 90 days. Only the result (score and tags) is cached on the server for up to 6 hours, so the same author is not re-analyzed. HOW TO START Install, open threads.com and click "Feedray" in the left sidebar. Every feature has its own switch there. Free. Made by one person, no monetization. Feedray is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meta Platforms, Inc. or Threads.
