Overview
Follow feeds, watch sites that have no feed, and read full articles in a reader page, synced with your FeedBro account.
Read everything you follow in one place, in a full-page reader right in your browser. FeedBro gathers the sites, blogs, news sources and YouTube channels you follow into one reading list. Instead of opening a dozen homepages every morning, you open one page. THE READER • It fills a whole browser tab: your collections and feeds down the left, the article list in the middle, the article itself on the right. • Open it from the toolbar button, the icon's right-click menu, or Alt+Shift+R. • Three list layouts: normal, compact headlines for skimming, or cards with pictures. • Light, dark and sepia themes. • Keyboard shortcuts: j and k to move between articles, s to save, l to keep for later, u to mark unread, o to open the original, r to refresh. • Videos from Reddit, RedGIFs and YouTube play right in the article, and an article with a location opens on a map. FOLLOW A SITE IN ONE CLICK • On a page that has a feed, the FeedBro button offers to follow it. • If you open a feed directly, you can follow it right there. • If you can't see a feed, "Follow this site" finds the site's feed for you. • If the site has no feed at all, you can watch the page itself instead (see below). FULL ARTICLES Most feeds send only a short summary. FeedBro fetches the article itself and shows it as text, without the pop-ups, cookie bars and newsletter boxes. The fetch happens in your own browser, so it works on sites that turn servers away and on publications you subscribe to and are already signed in to. Whatever it fetches is saved to your account, so the same article is waiting on feedbro.com and on your phone. If an article still comes through wrong, "Fix this page on FeedBro" (right-click on the page) loads it in your own browser and brings the full text into FeedBro. WATCH PAGES THAT HAVE NO FEED A newsroom, a careers page, an online shop: press "Watch this page" in the popup, or right-click the page, and FeedBro checks it for you and brings in each new post, job or product as an article. On shops (Shopify, WooCommerce and any store that shows prices) and on Google Shopping searches, price drops, sales and items back in stock arrive as alerts your rules can act on. Public Pinterest boards can be followed too. FEEDS ONLY YOUR BROWSER CAN REACH No server can see an intranet address, a feed behind your company VPN, or one that only answers a signed-in browser, so no hosted reader can fetch them. Your browser can. Follow one in the reader and this browser keeps it up to date, syncing each update to your account so you can read it anywhere. When a site blocks FeedBro's servers, "Fix in my browser" on feedbro.com fetches that feed through your own connection, once, when you click it. ORGANISE WHAT YOU FOLLOW • Collections, to group feeds by topic, project or client. • Per-feed settings: give a feed your own name for it, ask for it to be checked more often, or cap how many of its articles you see when it floods the list. • Rules that watch for a word and then email you, notify you, highlight, tag, save or hide the article. You set them up on feedbro.com and they apply everywhere. IN YOUR LANGUAGE FeedBro follows your browser's language: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Arabic and Hebrew, the same languages as feedbro.com. ONE ACCOUNT, EVERY DEVICE Follow a site in Chrome and it is there in Firefox, on feedbro.com and in the Android app. What you have read, saved and kept for later stays in step, because it is all stored in your FeedBro account. PERMISSIONS FeedBro talks to feedbro.com for your account. Permission to read web pages is optional and asked for from a button the first time it is needed. It is used only to load articles you open; to fix a feed or page when you press "Fix in my browser" or "Fix this page on FeedBro"; and, if you switch on "Refresh unreachable feeds from this browser", to refresh feeds you follow that our servers cannot reach. Decline it and the reader still works on everything the feeds publish. FeedBro does not collect your browsing history or any page content you did not ask for, and it sells nothing to anyone. FREE AND COFFEE CLUB The free plan covers 50 feeds, 10 collections, 5 rules and 3 watched websites checked once a day, and includes the reader, full-text fetching, saving and sync. Coffee Club lifts the limits, watches 10 websites every hour, and adds smart summaries, a daily or weekly digest email, faster refreshes and premium fetching for hard-to-reach sites. Install FeedBro and connect your account to get started.
