Feed-Hygiene
Overview
Mask any content you choose. You define the terms, you decide when to look.
Feed-Hygiene – you decide what you see. News sites, social networks and search results keep showing you the same names and topics, whether you want them or not. Feed-Hygiene puts you back in control: you choose terms, and content containing them is masked on any website. HOW IT WORKS • Enter a term in the popup, such as a name, a topic or a keyword. • Posts, article teasers and search results containing that term are covered with an orange mask. • Curious? Click the mask's toggle to reveal just that one item, click again to cover it. • One switch in the popup turns Feed-Hygiene on or off entirely. WHAT MAKES FEED-HYGIENE DIFFERENT • You decide: no preset terms, no recommendations, no judgment of content. Only what you enter gets masked. • Precise: whole words only, case-insensitive. Adding "art" won't hide "article". • Always reversible: remove terms with one click, reveal any mask at any time. • Up to 50 terms of your own. • Free, no account, no ads. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU Feed-Hygiene runs entirely locally in your browser. Your terms are stored only on your device. The extension sends no data, loads no remote code and contains no trackers. It needs just two permissions: storage for your terms, and access to websites so it can mask content there. Feed-Hygiene is a tool for your personal media hygiene: less noise, calmer reading.
