Shows only what you chose — friends and groups you joined. Counts the rest, and can dim it, hide it, or stop it at the source.

Your feed is mostly things you never asked for. This gives you back the part you chose. WHAT IT DOES Feed Filter looks at every post in your Facebook home feed and works out one thing: did you choose this? A post from a friend you added, or a group you joined, is something you asked for. A page you have never followed, a "suggested for you" post, an ad - is not. You decide what happens to the rest: leave it alone, grey it out, or hide it completely. It also counts, so you can see what your feed is actually made of. On the feed this was built against, roughly one post in six came from a friend or a joined group. The rest was chosen for you. WHY IT KEEPS WORKING Most feed cleaners run from a blocklist: hide anything labelled "Sponsored", hide "Suggested for you", hide Reels, hide "People you may know". That is a race against a team shipping changes daily, and it loses ground every month. Feed Filter asks the opposite question. Instead of "is this one of the things Facebook injects?", it asks "is this someone I picked?" - checked against a list you build yourself from your own friends and groups pages. The difference is that new kinds of injected content need no new rule, and it behaves identically whatever language your interface is in. IT ERRS TOWARDS LEAVING THINGS ALONE Before anything is dimmed or hidden, something has to actively show you are not connected to the source: a Follow button, a Join button, a "Suggested" label, or an ad marker. Not being on your list is not enough on its own. A page you already follow never shows a Follow button - precisely because you follow it - so it stays. The cost of that choice is that some unwanted posts survive; the benefit is that a post you did want is not silently removed before you ever see it. Friends and groups you joined are never touched, under any setting.
