Feed Block

Stops endless scrolling on social and video sites. Search, messages, and links you're sent keep working.

Feed Block strips social and video sites down to what you came for. No endless scrolling, no rabbit holes. Search, messages, and links people send you keep working. WHAT IT HIDES - Home feeds. On YouTube, for example, the home page becomes a clean start page with a big search box and quick links. - Recommended videos, end screens, and autoplay-next - Endless short-video scrolling: a short video you are sent still plays, but you can't swipe to the next one - Stories, trending lists, and "people you may know" style suggestions - Endless posts on profiles and pages (optional) WHAT STILL WORKS - Search - Direct links to a video, post, photo, or event - Messages, notifications, and settings - Marketplace on Facebook works normally - Normal playback keys (play, pause, volume, seek, fullscreen) YOUR CONTROLS - Each site gets its own tab in the settings popup, and every rule can be switched off - Groups and communities: keep them hidden, allow only the ones you pick, or allow all - "Next video" keyboard shortcuts are blocked so they can't pull you into more content - Alt+S jumps back to your last search (pick a different key in settings) - Extras: hide comments, and make the Skip ad button bigger and easier to click PRIVACY - No data collected. No tracking. No ads. No server. - Your settings stay in your Chrome profile. The full list of supported sites is on the website linked from this page.
