CyTube Plus

A tidier look, coloured names, mention highlights, lights down and Niconico-style comments for cytu.be. Unofficial.

Adds a few things to CyTube (cytu.be) channels: • Polished look: the chat, playlist, poll and video player become rounded, tidier cards, and busy chats and long playlists take less work for your browser to draw. The rest of the page is left alone, and a channel's own style always comes first. • Coloured names: everyone in chat gets their own name colour. Staff keep their rank colours. • Highlights: messages that mention you, and private messages, stand out. • Niconico comments: new chat messages scroll across the video, like on Niconico, at a speed you can set. Turn them on with the square button under the video. • Lights down: the bulb button under the video dims the rest of the page; click outside the video to lift the dark for a moment. How dark, and for how long, can be set in the toolbar popup, and the chat can have a lighter dim of its own. • Turn off sync: pause and skip the video on your own, or click any title in the playlist or search results to watch it just for you. A bar under the video shows what you're watching and takes you back in sync with the room in one click. On channels that hide their playlist, the bar has a searchable list of it instead. • Click a name in chat to reply to that person, or an emote to add it to your message. Nothing is sent until you press Enter. • Shrink big emotes: oversized emotes in chat are made smaller so the chat reads more easily. Small ones are left alone. Everything can be switched off in the toolbar button's settings, and channels can be blacklisted so the extension stays off on them. It only runs on cytu.be channel pages, and everything it does stays in your browser: nothing changes for anyone else in the room. Unofficial: not made by or affiliated with CyTube.
