Quick AI is an AI-powered browser sidebar designed to help you understand webpages, find information, improve writing, and work with images and documents without leaving your current tab. Key features: • Ask AI questions directly from the browser sidebar. • Select text on any webpage and click “Ask AI” for a quick explanation. • Summarize and ask questions about the active webpage. • Search the web for current information. • Draft emails, posts, replies, and other written content. • Rewrite text for improved clarity, tone, and readability. • Analyze images and extract visible information. • Upload supported PDF or text documents and ask questions about their content. • Continue conversations using the follow-up question bar. • Access recent conversations through local history. • Copy generated answers with one click. How it works: Open Quick AI from the Chrome toolbar or the floating webpage button. Choose a tool from the sidebar, enter your question, or select text from the current webpage. Quick AI sends only the content required for the feature you explicitly activate to a developer-managed AI service and displays the generated response in the sidebar. Privacy and transparency: Quick AI does not require users to provide their own API key. Prompts, user-selected webpage text, requested page content, attached images, and document text may be securely transmitted to the developer-managed backend and its AI service provider to generate responses. Conversation history is stored locally in the browser. AI-generated answers may occasionally be inaccurate, so important information should be independently verified. Quick AI is suitable for research, reading assistance, writing, learning, document review, and everyday productivity.
