Finds yacht crew jobs for Upwind, fills in your applications, and keeps your CV up to date on the job board and your agencies.

Upwind takes the legwork out of a yacht crew job hunt. The extension works from your own logged-in Chrome on your laptop. It finds new jobs that fit your saved search and sends them to your Upwind account to be scored against your profile. It fills in your applications, and keeps your CV up to date on the job board and your agencies. FINDS JOBS • Checks the job board for new jobs that fit your criteria: when you press Scan now, when you tap Refresh matches in Upwind on your phone, and on paid plans on a timer while Chrome is open. A job board tab opens in the background during a check and closes itself when it's done. • Sends new jobs to your Upwind account, where each one is scored from 0 to 100 against your profile, with a line on why it fits (within your plan's monthly allowance). • Adds an "Add to Upwind" button to job pages, so you can send any job to Upwind by hand. • Shows an amber "!" on its icon when the job board needs you to log in again. APPLIES • When you press Apply in Upwind on a job you've written the letter for and approved, the extension fills your cover letter into the job's application and sends it. "Apply to approved" does the same for every approved job. • On paid plans you can switch on automatic applications: jobs you approve on your phone are sent from your laptop. • Fill with Upwind on the application forms of supported crew agencies: fills in your details, cover letter and CV. It never presses send on an agency's site. You check the form and send it yourself. KEEPS YOUR CV UP TO DATE • On paid plans with automatic applications switched on, a new CV uploaded to Upwind goes on your job board profile too, with your About me and Hobbies. • In Upwind's agency checklist, tap Update and the extension puts your current CV on your profile with that agency, for the agencies it supports. It opens the agency's page in a tab you can watch, and checks the new CV is there before saying it's done. GOOD TO KNOW • Works with your Yotspot account and your agency accounts, inside your own logged-in Chrome. Upwind is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by that job board or any recruitment agency. Upwind never sees your passwords. • The extension only uses an agency's site after you allow that site in its Options, one agency at a time. • Job pages it reads are sent to your Upwind account, where AI turns them into job details, scores and cover letters.
