Overview

Read and translate PDF documents without leaving the page.

FusionPDF is a Chrome extension for reading and translating PDFs that the user explicitly opens. It works with the locally installed FusionPDF Desktop Companion to locate paragraph regions in PDF pages. Translation crops are sent only to the OpenAI-compatible multimodal Provider configured by the user. FusionPDF does not take over Chrome's default PDF handler and does not read arbitrary pages or browsing history. A Provider API key is kept in memory by default and is stored in extension storage only when the user explicitly enables Remember.
