Highlights no longer saved for pages on particular websites.

Highlights on pages at https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/ were saved perfectly until recently, when something behind the scenes seems to have changed either at that site or in Chrome. (Saving highlights on pages at most other sites still works fine.)

"Saving highlights" in my personal lexicon means:
1. Visit a webpage with Chrome.
2. Highlight some text on that page.
3. Drag the page's "View site information" icon (on Chrome's address bar) into a folder on my Windows 10 PC.
4. Double-click the shortcut saved in that folder so that Chrome visits that page again.
5. Highlights made on Chrome's previous visit to that page seem no longer to be preserved for every site

If I clean cache&cookie, will I loose all my highlights?

The extension is simple and great, I only need the ability to save my highlights if I clean cache&cookie or reinstall my browser. And an option to see all my savings separately is welcome too.

Issue with copying

the words/sentences on page gets highlighted but doesn't show up in copy menu. It shows "there are no highlights on this page"

Copying out highlighted text.

Hi, when I copy out highlighted text, I always get a line that says "Lost highlights on this page:", and the content after that are repeated garbage.

not showing highlights of previous os

i have recently shifted to ubuntu through dual booting i am not able see the highlights in ubuntu that i have made in the windows os earlier ,but i am able to see them in the windows os...

Highlights - Saved Location, Search and Export

Hi Jérôme,
Thanks for this great extension! I have a few questions:
1. Where can I find the saved highlights on my device?
2. How do I search through the highlights? Being able to manually search through the highlights also works if the extension doesn't support search yet.
3. How to export highlights from one system to another (assume that both use chrome and have Highligher extension installed)?

Highligter isnt working

i have been using this extension for quite some time now but one day this extension stopped working. I have tried other highlighter extensions as well and they dont seem to be working either.

Cannot delete highlights

It's a great extension, and I'm happy to find it, but the problem is, I cannot delete the highlight record by clicking delete; I have to keep on clicking on the button and re-open the extension multiple times, and they will eventually delete. It's a great extension; please fix it as you shoot. Thank you.
