FeedShade

Cover posts on X by author region or by words you choose. A personal content filter, not affiliated with X Corp.

FeedShade cleans up your X timeline. Pick the regions and words you're done seeing, and matching posts get covered right where they are, with the reason shown and a one-click Show button. What it does: - Cover posts by the author's listed region. Choose a whole region like Europe or South Asia, and every country in it comes along. - Cover posts by words or phrases you pick, matched against names, @handles, and post text. - Cover posts in languages you don't read. - Cover throwaway-looking accounts: handles stuffed with numbers and default profile photos. - Keep anyone visible with your Always show list. - Show any covered post with one click. Nothing is deleted, and nobody is blocked on X. Free: - 1 region, 3 words, 1 language - Number-heavy handle and default-photo filters - Always show list, stats, and import/export of your rules Pro Lifetime: $4.99 founder price (regular $9.99), one-time: - More regions, words, and languages - Emoji and flag filters - Display names full of numbers - Cover accounts X says may have an inaccurate location - Your own list of accounts to always cover - Choose cover, blur, hide, or collapse for each kind of match Careful by design: Region checks stay off until you agree. After that they run slowly, at most once every 10 minutes and 6 times an hour. If X ever pushes back, FeedShade pauses its own checks while X keeps working normally. Want zero extra checks? Pick "Only use info X already shows." Accounts FeedShade doesn't know yet always stay visible. An honest note: extra checks use your signed-in X account, and X could treat them as unusual activity, so there's some risk of account limits. The slow pace is a precaution, not a guarantee.
