FCE Planning Assistant

Downloads planning application documents from Irish council websites for Furey Consulting Engineers' FCE Tools.

This extension allows clients of Furey Consulting Engineers to automate the retrieval of online planning documents from Irish council websites. It works with the Planning Documents page on FCE Tools (tools.fureyconsulting.ie), and you need an FCE Tools account to use it. Choose a council and enter a planning reference. Every document on that application is saved to your download folder, in one folder per application. DJVU drawings are converted to PDF, and large-format PDFs can be split into single pages. The extension only acts when the FCE Tools page asks it to. It only contacts Irish (.ie) council websites, it saves files through your browser's own downloader, and it sends nothing to Furey Consulting or anyone else.
