LessonBoard turns your video lesson into an interactive one. Run polls, quizzes, timers and other activities during a live class — and show them, with live results, right inside your camera feed or shared screen. No screen-sharing a separate website, no juggling tabs, no apps for your students to install. Made for teachers, tutors and trainers who teach on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams in the browser. HOW IT WORKS 1. Prepare your activities and lesson plans on mylessonboard.com. 2. Open your meeting in Chrome and click the LessonBoard icon to open the side panel. 3. Start the lesson. Students join from their phone or laptop with a short code, a link or a QR code shown right in your video. 4. Launch an activity with one click. Your class sees it in your video tile, and the results update live as students answer. NINE ACTIVITIES, READY TO GO • Quick Poll — ask the class anything and watch the bars fill in. • Mini Quiz — multiple choice with a correct answer you reveal when you are ready. • Understanding Check — "Clear / Not sure / Need help", so you know whether to move on. • Timer — a countdown everyone can see, for thinking time, pair work or tasks. • Open Question — short written answers from every student, shown on the board. • Exit Ticket — a one-line takeaway or a rating at the end of the lesson. • Random Student Picker — fair turn-taking, without repeating the same names. • Scoreboard — points for students or teams, for games and competitions. • Activity Prompt — instructions, a discussion topic or an image, shown large and clear. YOUR CLASS SEES IT IN YOUR VIDEO LessonBoard draws the activity directly into the video your students already watch — your camera, or your shared screen when you are presenting slides. Choose where it sits (a corner, beside you, or full frame), its size, a light or dark look, and how transparent it is. Hide it with one click whenever you want your class to see only you. RUN THE WHOLE LESSON FROM THE SIDE PANEL • Your lesson plan, in order, one click away. • Live answers as they arrive: how many students have answered and what they chose. • Close answering and reveal the correct answer when you decide. • See who has joined, pick a student, adjust scores. • Create a quick activity on the spot when the lesson goes somewhere unplanned. STUDENTS JOIN IN SECONDS Students answer on any phone, tablet or computer. They type a name and they are in: no account, no app, no email address. Students who also have the LessonBoard extension can join straight from the same meeting, without typing a code. PREPARE AHEAD ON THE WEBSITE • Build activities once and keep them in your library. • Group them into lesson plans and folders by class or subject. • Preview every activity before class: exactly what students will see on their phones and on the board. • After the lesson, look back at the answers, quiz results and participation for every session. IN THE CLASSROOM, TOO Teaching in person? Put the board on a projector or smart screen and let students answer from their phones. Same activities, same lesson plans, no video call needed. PRIVACY • Your video and audio never leave your browser. The activity is drawn into your camera picture on your own computer; LessonBoard is not in your meeting and does not record anything. • Students do not create accounts and are never asked for an email address or phone number. • The extension only exchanges lesson content and students' answers with LessonBoard. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
