Overview

Free FBA profit, fees, ROI and max buy cost on Amazon product pages, plus the ASIN on every search result. Estimates only.

Know your max buy cost before you buy. FBA Essentials Profit Checker puts a compact profit strip directly under the price on any Amazon product page. It reads the ASIN, price, Best Sellers Rank, dimensions and weight from the page you are already looking at, estimates the Amazon fees, and shows you the most you can pay per unit to hit your target ROI, with a clear BUY / MAYBE / PASS call. On search results it shows the ASIN under every product so you never have to open a listing just to grab the ID. It is built for retail arbitrage, online arbitrage and wholesale sellers who make dozens of buy-or-pass decisions a day and want the numbers in front of them, not in another tab. WHAT YOU SEE ON A PRODUCT PAGE The strip sits right below the price and is sized to stay out of your way. Header - Best Sellers Rank and its category, read from the product details. - The ASIN in a click-to-copy badge. One click copies it for Keepa, your spreadsheet or your supplier search. FBM and FBA columns, side by side - Sell price, pre-filled from the page and editable. - Buy cost, your cost per unit. - Ship per unit: your outbound shipping for the FBM column, your inbound shipping to Amazon for the FBA column. - Net: what is left after Amazon fees and your costs, per unit, for each fulfillment method. - ROI and margin for each column. Facts column - Brand. - Item weight and billable ship weight (the greater of actual and dimensional weight). - Size tier, for example Small standard or Large standard. - Dimensions. - Estimated referral fee and the category it was estimated under. - Estimated FBA fulfillment fee. - A variants warning when the listing has sizes or colors, so you check the exact variant you plan to buy. Footer - Max buy cost at your target ROI (30, 50, 70 or 100 percent). This is the number sourcing decisions come down to: the ceiling you can pay per unit and still hit your goal after fees, inbound and prep. - The verdict stamp: BUY, MAYBE, PASS, or NEED DATA when something essential is missing. - Prep cost per unit. - Fee confidence (high, medium or low) so you know how much to trust the estimate. When the page has no dimensions or weight, we say so instead of faking precision. - Notes: reminders such as meltable or expiration-dated categories, and anything the extension could not read from the page. - Links to the full web calculator and to the restrictions check for that ASIN in your own Seller Central. Collapse it to a single line when you want the page back, or hide it for that page. WHAT YOU SEE ON SEARCH RESULTS Every result card, organic or sponsored, gets an ASIN badge under its title. Click the badge to copy the ASIN. New results that load as you scroll or filter get badges too. HOW TO USE IT 1. Open any amazon.com product page. The strip appears under the price with the sell price already filled in. 2. Type your buy cost. If you ship to Amazon, add inbound per unit; if you fulfill yourself, add your outbound shipping. Add prep if you pay for it. 3. Pick your target ROI. Your ROI, inbound, prep and outbound defaults are remembered for the next page. 4. Read the max buy cost and the verdict. Compare the FBM and FBA nets if you fulfill both ways. 5. Need the full breakdown, storage or a different scenario? Click Full calculator to open the same numbers in the web calculator at fbaessentials.com. HOW THE NUMBERS ARE MADE Every figure is computed in your browser from Amazon's published fee schedule. Referral fees use the category detected from the product title and breadcrumb. Fulfillment fees use the size tier derived from the dimensions and weight on the page. Net, ROI, margin and max buy cost come from one calculation engine, the same one that powers the calculator, the scanner and the bulk supplier-list tool on fbaessentials.com, so the extension never disagrees with the website. The fee confidence label tells you how solid the estimate is. High means dimensions, weight and category were all read cleanly. Medium means one of them was inferred. Low means the size tier could not be determined and the fulfillment fee is a rough guess. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - It never connects to your Seller Central account, and it never asks for your credentials. - It never reads your seller data, your inventory, your orders or your account health. - It never changes your listings or your prices, and it cannot. - It cannot check account-specific restrictions, gating, hazmat status or eligibility. Those depend on your account. Use the Restrictions link to check them in your own Seller Central before you buy. - Its numbers are estimates for research. Amazon fees change, categories can be assigned differently, and package dimensions on a listing are sometimes wrong. Confirm in Seller Central before you commit money. PRIVACY The extension collects no data and sends nothing anywhere. There is no account, no sign-in and no tracking. Your defaults (target ROI, inbound, prep, outbound shipping) are saved only on your device using Chrome's local extension storage. The only network action is opening fbaessentials.com in a new tab when you click a link in the strip. Permissions, and why: - Access to amazon.com pages: to read the product details and search results you are viewing, and to draw the strip and the badges. - Storage: to remember your own defaults on your device. - Active tab: to work on the page you are on and nowhere else. Privacy policy: https://fbaessentials.com/privacy FREE The extension is free, with no account required. It is one of three FBA Essentials tools: the extension, the UPC/ASIN scanner, and the buy-cost calculator with bulk supplier-list checking. The website tools are free every day; a flat $10 per month Pro plan raises the limits for high-volume sourcing. Nothing in the extension is gated behind Pro. SUPPORT Questions, a page that did not parse, or a fee that looks off: https://fbaessentials.com/contact. Tell us the ASIN and what the strip showed and we will look at it.
