FB-Vehicle Finder
Overview
Find and filter Facebook Marketplace vehicle listings from private sellers
I needed a new car and wanted to buy a used one. You can get an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace, but need to sift through tons of scam listings and bad actors. So I created an automated scanning tool that will browse listings for you, based on your wants and hide listings in the click of a button. This has a ton of features in a simple package that help you find a great used vehicle quickly! Here is how it works: 1. Install the chrome extension and be logged into Facebook Marketplace already. 2. Perform a generic vehicle search by clicking on 'Vehicles' or searching for something like '4x4' or 'F150'. 3. Click the chrome extension icon at the top right (if you stickied it) 4. Type in your desired filters (year, mileage, whether or not you want to buy from a likely dealership). 5. Press 'Run Scan' and relax. When a scan runs, it will open up visible listings in a new tab and check its data against your filters. if it doesn't meet your expectations, it will block the listing from your view. You can then hide these listings and not see them again (even after you refresh the page or come back later!). To see an in-depth tutorial of all the features, click the ? icon in the top right of the pop up window. I used this to find my vehicle and had great success and thought others can use it too. This extension is completely free, does not send your Facebook or computer data anywhere and is not affiliated with Facebook/Meta.
