Favewise - Bookmark Cleaner & Organizer
Overview
Make bookmarks useful again. Find dead links, duplicates, empty folders, and forgotten bookmarks. Local-first, no tracking.
Favewise makes bookmarks useful again. It is a local-first bookmark manager that works alongside Chrome's native bookmarks. It does not replace your save flow. It helps clean up the bookmark pile you have built over time. What Favewise helps with: - Check dead links, timeouts, suspicious redirects, and pages that may require SSO, VPN, or login. - Find duplicate bookmarks with normalized URL matching. - Organize loose bookmarks into cleaner folder suggestions. - Rediscover old saved pages you may have forgotten. - Find empty folders. - Protect folders you already organized by hand. - Browse, rename, reorder, move, trash, and restore bookmarks from a focused side panel. - Use English or Simplified Chinese. Privacy: Favewise is local-first. It does not require an account, does not collect telemetry, and does not upload your bookmarks to JoyX servers. Dead-link checks only contact bookmarked URLs when you start a check or enable scheduled scans. Local, private, browser-internal, and non-web URLs are skipped. Before first use, export a backup of your bookmarks from Chrome if your bookmark library is important.
