It identifies who is speaking and separates the transcript into labelled turns, which you can rename. It accepts the common audio and video formats, works in most major languages, and exports plain text, SRT and VTT subtitles, and DOCX documents with speaker names included. Your first file needs no signup and includes speaker labels. Speech recognition and speaker diarization both run on private self-hosted GPU hardware, and audio is deleted immediately after transcription. Drop a file on the popup, or right-click a media link or an audio or video player on any page, and the extension sends the file you choose to thefastscribe.com's own uploader; nothing is uploaded anywhere else. The extension itself never receives, stores, or transcribes anything: it opens thefastscribe.com and hands the browser's own file data to that page's existing uploader, the same one you would use by visiting the site directly. Speaker labels follow the same gate as the site itself: automatic on the no-signup first file, one labelled file a day on a free account, and every file on Pro.
