Pick a colour from the page you are working on, or enter any colour value by hand, and get every format you need in one focused tool. • Sample colours directly from the current page • Read and convert between multiple colour spaces and formats, including Swift and Flutter • Generate perceptual OKLCh scales, harmonies and monochromatic ramps • Check WCAG 2.2 contrast ratios and APCA Lc guidance • Adjust RGB, HSL, OKLCh and alpha values with live controls • Copy any value with one click • Keep a local history of recent and pinned colours • Open Farbe in the side panel while you work No account. No analytics. No ads. No external requests. Colour processing happens locally in your browser. --- Privacy tab --- Single purpose: Farbe identifies and inspects colours selected by the user from the current page or entered manually. Data collection: Farbe does not sell, transmit, or share user data. The visible tab is captured temporarily and processed locally only when the user starts the colour picker. Recent colours, preferences, and comparison values are stored locally in Chrome Storage. No data is sent to a server, and there is no analytics or advertising. Limited Use certification: Farbe uses requested permissions only to provide its colour-picking, colour-inspection, local-history, and side-panel features. User data is not used for advertising, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes. --- Permission justifications --- storage: Stores recent/pinned colours, theme, selected view, and comparison colour locally. activeTab: Temporarily accesses the active page after the user clicks “Pick from page”. scripting: Injects the colour-picker overlay into the active page after the user starts picking. sidePanel: Provides the optional side-panel view. --- Test instructions --- 1. Install Farbe. 2. Open the extension popup and confirm the initial colour formats are visible. 3. Enter #4F46E5 or rebeccapurple and switch between Formats, Scale, Harmony, Contrast, and Adjust. 4. Click “Pick from page” on a normal HTTPS page and click a visible colour. 5. Open the side panel and repeat the picker flow. 6. Confirm that values can be copied and that recent colours remain after reopening the extension. No login or test credentials are required. --- Distribution --- Free, public, all regions, English.
